Sunday Scoop - Last One of the Year!

Good morning, Friends!  I am linking up with Teaching Trio for their Sunday Scoop linky party.
My husband has been busily working on finishing up our upstairs bathrooms.  That has inspired me to clean up this place.  I have filled his dump trailer one time, taken a huge load to Value Village, and have the second trailer load filling up fast.  The shopping is connected to this renovation.  I need to get new towels, etc. for the new bathrooms.
Handles and towel bars in the works
The ensuite bathroom is grey and black.  These are going to be beautiful!!!
My house has a ton of treats but not much real food.  I definitely need to take a trip to the grocery store!
Does anyone have a suggestion for a great book to read for fun?  Thanks for sharing.

Sunday Scoop - Last Week!

I am linking up with Teaching Trio for their fun Sunday Scoop Linky Party.
These are my last five days of school before Christmas Break.
1. Last week, our Paragraph of the Week was about a special talent.  Some of my students had a difficult time thinking of something they were good at.  But they all came through in the end.  :)  This week, we will be writing about our holiday traditions.
2. I always like to give the Scholastic Book Coupons at Christmas!  I put them with a holiday pencil, eraser, etc.
3. I started a Weebly blog this year, and I absolutely love it!  It is so user friendly!

Tonight is my sister-in-law's 50th birthday!  The prime rib is about to go in the oven!  Yum!  Then we watch Elf!  I love that movie!!!

What are you doing this week?

Holiday Concert Art

We had a crazy busy week!  But our holiday concert was a huge success!  Here is what we did to help decorate the gym for the big night.  I bought this product from Zip-a-Dee-Doo-Dah Designs.
Then I made this template.
I cut black cardstock in half.  The children used pastels to colour the bulbs.  Then they cut and glued them onto the black cardstock.  We glue-gunned on the string.  And voila!
The children hung them up side by side - all around the gym.  So pretty.

For those of you with some school days left, enjoy!  Five more for me.  :)

Currently December

I am linking up with Farley of Oh Boy 4th Grade for her amazing Currently party.
Most of these are self explanatory.  Here is info on the others:

Thinking:  We just got our Secret Santa names at school.  I LOVE Secret Santa!  I've already picked up a few things for my person.
Wanting:  Is this wrong?  In soon snowy Canada, I still want a barbecue?  My husband used to barbecue year round and I have so missed our barbecue since it broke.
Giving:  Click on the picture below to download my Alphabet Clip Art for free.  This will only be a free product until the Weekend, so download now.
