Fake Birthday Giveaway and a Peek at My Week

I am just loving this long weekend!  As all of my friends and family know, I only have a birthday every 4 years.  Yes, I'm lucky enough to be born on February 29th - every American presidential election and every Summer Olympics happens on my birthday year.  I also like to celebrate my birthday many times during the month of February when I do not have a birthday.  This year I am going to share the love by offering my first Rafflecopter giveaway ever!  (Fingers crossed that it works!)

I am also linking up with Jennifer at Mrs. Laffin's Laughings for a Peek at My Week.
This is a 4 day week for us - Monday is called Family Day here in Ontario - so no school for us.  The rest of the week we are working on data management in math.  We will be doing some Olympic Math and creating graphs with Olympic data.  Don't those hockey games keep you on the edge of your seat?  My awesome teacher candidate will be teaching the grade 4's all about procedure writing.  I love procedure writing - especially when it incorporates food.  (Hint hint!)  I'm also going to try Writing Circles - check out Jennifer Laffin's post about these.  Wishing you all the best for the rest of your weekend.  :)

  5. Happy birthday month!!! I would think that if I only had a birthday every 4 years I would celebrate all month long on the years I don't have an actual day! I think I need to check into this Writing Circles thing. I hope you have a great week!
